Our Services
-
The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of high quality treatment. You and your therapist will work together to create a treatment plan that meets your specific goals. Most individual appointments are 45-50 minutes and meet weekly or bi-weekly. Frequency may decrease over time as goals are met. Some clients want quick solutions to a specific concern while others value finding a provider they can work with in a longer-term therapeutic relationship. We accommodate both of these preferences.
-
Bright Transitions Therapy provides support for parents who are managing their child’s emotional and behavioral health challenges. We enjoy working with children because they have the natural support system of parents or other caregivers. We are also available to work directly with parents to discuss concerns and find the best support strategies. Additionally, we offer traditional family therapy sessions with both the parent(s) and child together. We will recommend the most effective types of family therapy for your situation.
-
The initial therapy appointment, or intake, is a complete diagnostic assessment. We will discuss the presenting concerns as well as pertinent history and background information. This will help your therapist to formulate an appropriate diagnosis and determine the best recommendations for treatment.
